wouh.... I just woke up and read the news .... I feel so lost now. I already have +40 messages in my inbox with deviants I follow who changed their names, honestly this is disturbing.
Some deviants made minor changes or put their real names, so it's ok, I still know who they are, but some other ... it's just WTF ? a nick, to another nick. I feel so lost, I'm not really sure it's a great idea (and you can change it each 6 month O_O; ) .... the only thing I can refer on now is the icon (and the gallery of course, but for exemple, the birthday list on your message center ... I don't want to look each deviant gallery to remember who they are ..), at least I hope people will not change it all the time...
@.@ oh well... how do you feel about that ? I'm not planning to change mine (and if I change my mind, I will still leave Maeva inside anyways).

I'm making this journal without any animosity... I'm just asking myself a question.

I'm currently reading something "interesting". A talented DA user where copied by another deviant. Nothing really new here, it happen all the time, sadly...Anyways, the author of the real picture is very sad, because she wasn't credited. And I'm reading comments of her account who say that she should be glad to be copied...

Here I come. How can people actually think that ? I can't understand. I hear that a lot "you should be happy, if people copy you, that mean you're popular".
What is popularity ?
When people copy Naruto, everybody in the world know it's Naruto, yes.
But when those same people copy an artist on internet, many people don't know who the source is. You maybe think they are popular because they are more known than you, but you're so wrong. Everything is so subjective.

So it seems to me that those people, who think a copy is a kind of recognation for been popular ( "popularity" is a serious illness on this site...), have a really bad opinion about themselves and about what they draw. My question is : are you really ready to undergo anything that could give you the impression of been popular ? I hope somedays they will find many copies of their works, enough to  think that, finally, it's not that cool to work hard on something and to see people using what you created for their own interest. So maybe they will understand it's not a question of "popularity", it's a question of "respect". Respect yourself first. Respect the artists you like.

A last word about popularity : we all like feedbacks and fav on DA. That mean we are not alone and that people support us. There's nothing wrong in this. Want to be popular ? it can be a good felling, if that give you motivation to practice and become a better artist. But here, what I see the most is people that envy other people. And let me tell you, this will eat you alive.
The only person you need to fight and to surpass is YOURSELF. Have fun, be proud of you, practice, don't lose you time to look around.

So first, happy holidays everybody ! I haven't done any picture for this event so I had to tell you with a journal ^^

Second, I was thinking a lot lately about my arts (and some people gave me very useful comments that made me think even more deeply).
In 2011 I really worked hard on my color skills. I learnt and tested many things, I did many speed paintings which helped me to paint faster and better. I worked on textures too. Well I honestly had a lot of fun ! I worked on my lines and style too.
But for the rest ...... I let a lot of things down below. I haven't done really "well worked pictures" since a while, you know, real  and big detailled illustrations.
So in 2012 I want to make more detailled paintings. I want to work on animals and on backgrounds and I need to draw more men. Yes I draw a lot of women and for a reason I ignore, I totally forgot to draw men since 2 years ...
On my previews journal I talked about "Game of Throne" and some of you asked me if I will do fanarts. The answer is yes, because I have a real motivation to draw my favorite characters in my style I will practice a lot with those pictures, the serie/book contains many crazy backgrounds and different sorts of animals so it will be nice and I have some nice ideas. Of course I will do original illustrations too but as usual I need a subject that really give me the motivation to put all my strengh in my arts, so fanarts or original, you know I don't care as long as I have the spirit !
And I'm currently working on my commission list and during 2012 I'm not sure I will open my commissions often. I want to save time for my own ideas and to have time to practice.
I'm writting this on my journal because I hate taking resolutions each year... I don't follow them all.
So writting this will reminds me that I told all my watchers that I will work hard and improve a lot, so if I don't do it, I will be a big looser.. and In don't want this happen ahahah

I 've already done a journal like this, 1 year ago, I think I asked my dear watchers some good movies to buy because I'm a movie addict and I have a big collection.

So I bought many titles depending of what people told me the last time, and I had very nice surprises ^^ thank you ^o^

Here I come again, since months passed and since I have new watchers too
What's your fav movies ? what did you discovered this year ?

I'm searching for :
- Emotionnal movies (like American Beauty, Welcome to Gattaca, the fountain etc ...) those kind of movies which move your heart and spirits inside you, who make you cry because they are beautiful and sometimes really sad too. My fav kind of movies.
- Thrillers, I love deep good story, with interesting endings, surprises !...
- Zombis movies XD good ones please, I'm not asking for blood, I'm asking for interesting stress and survive movies
- monsters/aliens movies I'm a great fan of Alien and Predators, so monsters are ok, as long as it's interesting and creative... Same as zombis = I'm not searching for blood everywhere...

.... well and anything you think is interesting.

I just dislike cheesy love stories >_>; so please spare me this category.

And for my part, the movies I love and you maybe would like to discover :
- V for Vendetta, my fav movie FOREVER. The subject, the story, the way the movie is done, the message, everything, just pure win.
- The fountain... you need to like poetry for this one. The musics are totally amazing, the visual of the movie is breathtaking and the story is totally different from what you see usually
- American Beauty, actors, music, message, pure win
- The lovely bones, an awful subject, treated in a "fantasy" way... this movie is unique and very hard, I cried so much.
- The goonies, when S. Spielberg was still doing really great movies lol
- Moulin rouge.... ok for this one, you will have to like musical movies, it's not my cup of tea but this one... god... GOD ! I've learnt all the songs.
- The expendables ... XD sorry, just love the 80's. Just love those movies with all the big muscles guys from my childhood, I can watch it over and over and over again XD
-  Children of men (les fils de l'homme), totally unknow movie, but seriously when I watched it it killed me. There a sequence in the movie, I was just.... just.... I can't spoil you. Great subject.
- Last action hero = Epic win, big laugh XDDDD
- Welcome to Gattaca, what can I say ? perfect subject, epic story, super actors, epic musics.
- Slumdog Millionnaire ... if you don't know this one, you must have been living on another planet lol.
- 28 days later => Best zombis movie for me. Atmosphere = pure win, I love how the humans here are finally more scary than the zombis....
- The prestige, damnit, I LOVE this one. Great concept.
- Clint eastwood in general XD Love a lot of movies from him, perfect world, million dollar baby, Gran torino, Invictis. Go Clint !
- From dusk till down (une nuit en enfer), Ok power off your brains XD this one is violent and totally crazy => R. Rodriguez + Tarantino. Can't stop laughing each time I watch it.
- army of 12 monkeys, great story, I just love this one, the finish always make me cry so much.

Well and actually I have a no end list, so I'm going to stop here now let me know what you like !!

1 / I took part of an illustration horror book with many other artists, it was fun to do and the book is finally onsale on lulu

so just a little advertisement for the book ^^ I have 2 pieces inside. I still haven't look at how the book is myself (I will order it of course) but I kow that the 2 directors of this project worked very hard on it

2/ I had a very bad week, a lot of troubles that ruined my mood. I feel really low right now, so I'm not replying fast to comments just because I'm not that much online, I'm sorry, I'm taking a little break.

3/ I'm currently ill too, a bad angina ( tonsillitis  ? what's the good word in english?)  that refuse to heal so I'm taking a lot of medications >_>;;; + a big allergy on my scalp due to the stress .... ahah.... so nice...

4/ so, for having something nice this week lol, I sold many things and I was able to buy a wii with Xenoblade. Right now I'm playing this game and I would like to say that I'm so glad to have a REAL fucking good RPG to play after years without anything good (FF13 was a joke). A real big story, awesome musics and cool characters (anime style THANK YOU ! !!! RANT !!! I'm tired to see those realistic-faces-RPG-for-selling-stuff-in-USA-and-europe... this is stupid, I don't want to play something that look like my boring real world ! I want originality and dreams! WTF ? we already have real face characters in war games, in many online games, sports games, now in adventures games, seriously just leave me alone with your uninteresting design! gimme anime, cartoon, stylish, whatever you want but not realistic ! >o< ... sorry I had to write this ... personnal opinion but I think that the old RPG gamers like me, who like japanese RPG, are totally forgotten those last years and I don't like how the RPG world evolved => pretty graphics but totally empty stories and characters... I wish there were more good stories/plots and cool characters even if the game is not that pretty, like NieR which was a nice action-rpg even if the graphics were low !!! END OF RANT!!! ). Well, the Xeno serie (Xenogears = PS1 Xenosaga 1-2-3 = PS2 Xenosaga 1.2 = DS ) was always one of my favorite (very adult and bloody weird XD hell yeah). Ok, so sorry to bother you again with my comic, I will stop after this, I promise.

So I'm really grateful to all the people who voted to my poll and to all the people who voted no and explained why. I actually agree with many of them, so this is what I will do :

-> I will post only teasing on DA. Like 1 case of the new page that will be post on my comic site. I made this site and I'm happy to post my pages there. So there's no reason to post all the pages on DA because the site I made will simply die. I think it's a good compromise, you will have 1 picture here and you will just have to follow 1 link (1 clic lol, I don't think it's hard) to read the page.

-> Second, about the books I want to make. My friends told me "if you put all the pages online, people won't buy anything even if they like your comic you know...." So, I already told you that half of the books will be done with 1/ one half for the comic and 2/ the other half with illustrations especially done for that purpose (so I won't post them online, they will be just for the book). A sort of comic-artbook. That will be nice :3 But I decided to do something else : to not post the last pages of the comic online.
I think I will make 1 chapter = 1 book. So I'm currently working on Lysse's chapter as you know so you won't have the 6 or 7 last pages of her story. I think people have a lot to read on the site (70% of each chapter), and to feel if they like or no the story enough to buy the book.So, more than a half of the book will be totally unpublished
Edit :I do this comics and those upcoming little books for sharing stuff with people right ? so all the pages will be available on the site, forget what I wrote. I'm sorry, the project is important to me and I was so lost about the way I had to release things. So you will be able to read 100% of the pages on the site and on the books, don't worry, and on the books, you will still have the other half full of new illustrations if you want to get it. I had question about my rythm to update the site, I will try 1 page/week. Understand it' hard for me because I work on night (I have a full time job) and I have other artworks to do. Désolée de vous ennuyer encore avec mon projet apres cette mise a jour je ne vous ennuie plus, je le promets ^^

Je remercie les gens qui ont voté sur mon poll et en fait je remercie aussi ceux qui ont voté non et qui ont expliqué pourquoi, ça m'a enormement fait reflechir.

-> donc sur DA je ne ferai que du teasing. En gros je vais poster 1 case des qu'une nouvelle page sera mise en ligne sur mon site, pas la page complete. Donc comme ça sur DA vous serez informés et il y'aura au - un dessin et il suffira de suivre le lien dans le commentaire pour lire la page entiere (1 clic... pas trop dur je crois). J'ai créé mon site specialement pour ce projet et j'en suis tres contente, mettre les pages a 36 endroits differents c'est tout simplement tuer le site et ce n'est pas ce que je cherche.

-> ensuite, concernant les livres que je souhaite publier, des amis proches m'ont dit "ok c'est sympa de tout mettre en ligne mais ne reve pas, les gens auront tout a disposition et n'acheteront jamais ton receuil...". Je vous ai deja parlé de ces livres, une moitié sera dédiée aux pages et l'autre a des dessins inedits que je ne mettrai pas en ligne, une sorte de BD-livre d'illustrations. En gros je compte faire 1 livre par chapitre : la je travaille sur le chapitre de Lysse, quand je l'aurais terminé + les dessins inédits => le livre. J'ai donc decidé de ne pas poster les 6 ou 7 dernieres pages de chaque chapitre sur le net. J'estime qu'avec 70% d'un chapitre, les gens sont aptes à savoir s'il apprecient assez (ou non) mon histoire et mes dessins pour acheter la suite (surtout s'ils veulent connaitre la fin ! ). Du coup plus de la moitié du livre ne sera que de l'inedit !
Edit :Je fais cette BD et ces futurs livres pour partager avec les gens pas vrai  ? donc finalement toutes les pages seront disponibles sur le site, oubliez le chapitre du dessus. Je suis désolée, ce projet est tres important pour moi et je suis un peu perdue sur la façon de procéder et les choix a faire... Donc je decide que je mettrai 100% des pages, et pour les livres il y aura toujours la 2eme partie pleine d'illustrations inedites. Merci pour votre soutien, parce que sans mes watchers ici et mes lecteurs je ne suis pas grand chose. Well I need to talk.
Lately I found a very big amount of copies of my artworks on DA... I know many people don't want to be rude with me, I saw some of them credited me properly and haven't said a thing. But some other weren't that nice.

First, I'm happy that people like my arts and support me. I'm happy when I can inspire some of you, make you feel the envy to paint, this is really precious to me.

Now I really dislike when people post ALL the copies online, without giving a proper credit to my artworks, like a link, or are not able to even spell correclty my name.. seriously... I don't mind if you copy for practicing, we all did that when we were youngers and when we start drawing, but I prefer you keep them for yourself. I'm always really hurt when I see a copy with no link to the original and that the person even try to sell the copies as prints O_o even if you won't sell anything (most part of the time it's the case), you don't have the right to even think of selling something you used from another artist, this is really impolite !

Now for my characters and commissions, this is FORBIDDEN TO USE THEM !!!!! F.O.R.B.I.D.D.E.N. Is that clear enough? I had old characters before, Luriah, Blanche, maybe some of you who are following me for a long time enough remember them. People copied them, used them, stole them. I saw my characters used as RP characters, traced, modified, I saw someone who even tried to sold big pictures she copied from them. This is rude to take, those guys killed all the fun I had with my babies. That's why my characters vanished from internet and that I haven't created any OC for a long time. Now I have my new OC, I love them and I don't want to revive that nightmare.

Same goes for commissions. People PAY artists for doing commissions, you have to respect this, to respect their characters. Do not copy commissions and do not even try to sell prints.

Well I say it again, I know that most of the people who do that don't want to be rude, they just don't think about the consequences, especially because half of them are young artists. I totally understand that you want to copy something you like, I did that too when I was young, each artist did that once in his life, you don't learn how to draw by magic, you have to learn by trying things, training and all. So if you make a copy, it's better to keep it for yourself and if you really want to post it online DO IT WITH CREDITS AND DON'T USE/COPY/TRACE ARTIST PERSONNAL CHARACTERS. That's my point. I just ask a bit of respect.

So thank you for the people who credit me each time they copy me. Thanks to the people who ask before they use something from my gallery. Thanks for the people who even credit me when they just take inspiration from my works. For the others, you will see I'm not an awful person when things are done correctly, I often answer "yes" when it's about to use something from me, because when people ask, I think they just respect my work and this is the most important thing for an artist.

Ok, so I have often questions about how I scan my watercolors.
First about my materials you need to know that I'm using OLD materials.
My HP scanjet 4200C that my parents bought during 2001 (and I kinda... stole it from them ) and photoshop ...5 ...
So when I say it's old, I mean it! it's O.L.D !!! (and my digital pictures are colored with it too if you ask yourself. I love photoshop 5 it's so... basic XD I need simple things, I hate been lost with a program).

I have another scanner (you know, a scanner/printer), and I only use it for black and white pictures because really, I tried EVERYTHING but my watercolors look so ugly with it U_U;

So yeah, I love my Scanjet, one of my worse nightmare is the day it will die, I will cry ! I'm using it since the day I first posted something online !

So, on photoshop the only things I do are first to fix the "brightness and contrast". I often make -20 (brightness) and +20 (contrast).
And after I need to fix some colors.. "selective correction" ? I don't know how it's called in english but it should look like this. It's the section where you can fix the red, blue, yellow, grey, green, black on the picture. And I often need to regulate the colors when there's a lot of red (too vivid with the scanner) and the blue (too dark or vivid depending of the tone).
I just hope the new photoshop still work the same way ...

Well everything is not perfect and you will ALWAYS lose details with the scanner U_U I often lose things on my linearts and things on the skin color or on the light greys >_>; when it's pale, it's always a pain to fix.

So, I don't have many things more to say for helping you, depending of the scanner you have, yes you will have less or more problems... so take you time to fix your artworks, it's really important. Or maybe you can try to take photos ? Well I tried myself but I really don't like that. Again it depends of the camera you have.

When I remember some unpleasant comments I got on "lust", believe me, I don't want to draw anything directly related to sex especially when some people try to relate this to religion (and it's not the purpose of those pictures, I want to be clear, like the sins, I just want to have cool subjects to DRAW and to share my personal interpretations and feelings with you, that's all ).

hum.... I need opinions here.
Actually I will do the 7 vertues after my 7 sins serie. I had a lot of fun with those pictures and the virtues are a real challenge, because I think they are really harder to illustrate.

Honestly, the second place here was a real pain in the ass to pick... I had questions about the deadline. I wrote "march 27th midnight  : DA central time", but it seems to trouble some people depending on where they live (and some of them lose hours, so ...). So it will be midnight YOUR TIME. CONTEST :

I finally open my first contest about my characters ! this is exciting !

The 2 subjects are simples, all you have to do is to draw :
- 1 character (the one you want, I have no preferences ^^)
- or a duo with my characters. It can be the user with his spirit, 2 spirits together, 2 users together ^^ By the way, if you want to submit a picture for this subject, and to draw for exemple Lysse with Lyssian with his butterfly form, it doesn't work ! I want the spirits' human forms here please, no cheat XD
For the rest, it's up to you !
I don't want to kill your creativity or to put artistic barriers by asking this or that, so it's really free and simple. Any nice ideas are welcome !

Please remember some importants things :
ONLY the user can see/touch his/her spirit's human form. so, Lysse can only see/speak to  Lyssian, Lundyh can only see/speak to Lundymahk etc ... please don't draw, for exemple, something like Lysse talking with Lundymahk, it's impossible. Lysse can only see Lundymahk as a white butterfly. However, there are few exceptions to this rule, but I don't want to bothering you with this here (it's later on the story and very important for a particular case I haven't told you about already).
The spirits can see/talk to each others (exemple of Lyssian and Lundymahk on the comic pages, they spend their time to argue and fight lol!)
Kyrmell is only on Cecil's story. He never meets Lysse or Lundyh. Now if you have a nice or funny idea with those characters and want to draw them with another one they will never meet (like Lyssian with Kyrmell), please do it ! I won't be too demanding.

I will judge your picture depending on the technique, ideas and feeling. My friend and workmate Charlotte will help me to choice the winners. She doesn't draw and I think her opinion can be really fresh and useful because she's really sensitive
All I ask is :
- to respect the design of my characters (please make attention of their eyes for exemple, they have strange forms inside their pupils), but of course, you don't have to imitate my style ^^ please feel free to draw them all with your own artstyles
- to respect their personalities
- to READ my comments under my artworks because they will help you. I wrote important things about their stories, relationships and all. Those comments will help you to know my characters and certainly to decide what sort of sequences you would like to draw. If you have a doubt, a question, need precisions etc... note me or comment here !

CATEGORIES FOR EACH SUBJECT:
For each subject (so if you decide to draw 1 character or 2 characters), you can submit your picture as a :
- Traditional artworks
- Digital artworks
If you mix both techniques for drawing your artworks (for exemple, sometimes some artists use traditional tools and add things with computer after), you need to submit your artworks on the category you used the most. If 70% of your drawing is made by computer and 30% by traditional mediums, you must submit it as a digital artwork. Simple !

CHARACTERS :
so, all my babies and a short description about the important things you don't want to miss :

-> Lysse :

25 years old. She has a really bad temper. She doesn't like to obey orders or society's rules. She would love to destroy everything and to rebuild the society with her own personal vision. She feels guilty about what happened to Cecil when they were both youngers (see Cecil's description) and she thinks he died long time ago. She doesn't like herself and she's tring to forget a lot of things from her past by working hard on her fighting lessons and to achieve her goals.
She likes to look pretty but nothing more, she doesn't like make up.
Her power is called "dark blades" and I suggest you to read my comment about this on the picture of the same name (see links below).
Eyes : same than Lyssian but without the black. Pupils like cats. Middle is yellow, rest is red.
You can draw her young if you want, but remember she can't see Lyssian's human form at this period of her life. She met Lundyh at 17 years and a half (see the comic pages), she saw Lyssian's true form 6 month before that, when she killed someone. Again, all is written in the comments of each of my artworks ^^

-> Lyssian :

The dark spirit linked to Lysse. He's the incarnation of Lysse's "chaos". He likes to plays with people's mind, always the first to do a bad joke, and he likes to muddle up Lysse's relationships with other people. He wants to have her for himself (very possessive!). He hates Lundyh, because he has a good influence on Lysse. Lundyh knows how to calm her rage (and Lyssian feed of this feeling). Lyssian is really attached to Lysse but he often likes to manipulate her for his own goals (but in his mind, it's for her sake). And he likes to be a jerk with Lundymahk XD He (and Lysse too, but she will learn this late on the story) can use poison.
Eyes : pupils like cats. Middle is yellow, rest is red. White of the eyes is black
Insect for : dark butterfly

-> Lundyh :

45 years old. A nice and cool guy, and he's a sword user. He rarely use Lundymahk's powers (Lundymahk is more a friend and a councillor to him). He is kind, respectful and he knows perfectly how to deal with Lysse's destructive mood. For his past, please read the comments on his pictures! thanks !

-> Lundymahk :

The light spirit linked to Lundyh. He represents "truth and devotion" inside Lundyh. He's calm, he doesn't smile/laugh often. He has 4 eyes. The one on his front is for reading his ennemies' minds, the one of his chest is for reading their feelings.  Lundymahk doesn't really like Lyssian. He can't trust him (and he's right!)

-> Cecil :

23 years old. Childhood friend of Lysse. He used to live with her with 5 other children (all orphans). He was kidnapped (at 9 years old) by people who usually sell children on markets or make them their slaves. Lysse was here that day, and she hide herself like a coward because she was too scared to do something. So he became a slave and was tortured during many years. The day he found Cecilia on the Fountain of Holy spirits (about the fountain, read here: [link] ) he killed them all, he was 14 years old.
Cecil was a red haired child but due to the trauma and fear he endured, his hair became white. But please note that he still has some red bangs here and here. His relationship with Cecilia is special, it's a fusional and deep love.
Cecil has a big scar around his neck, sign of a slave collar he has to wear during his childhood.

-> Cecilia :

The fire spirit linked to Cecil. She's kind, nice, adorable, but when she'a angry, she's a real monster and she's very dangerous. She lost her left eye and she has a lot of scars. Those marks represent the suffering Cecil had to endure during his past, she is Cecil's "revenge". She has an infinite love for him.

-> Kyrmell :

27 years old. He looks younger than his normal age. He is cute, nice, kind but it's just for cheating with people's mind. In reality, he is a manipulative person, he likes to make people do what he wants for his own interests and plans. He likes to be the center of everybody's attention and to have a lot of people around him. One of his major project is to reunite a lot of strong spirit users around him and to be an important character on the society where he lives.
You can only find him on Cecil's story. He doesn't appear on Lysse or Lundyh's side of my story. Well, this is too bad for him, because Cecil can smell cheaters at 1000000 miles around and won't let him go !!
His main power is to talk and convince people with his voice and words. With especially low mind persons, he can make them do exactly what he wants (even if the orders he gives to them make their life in danger !).
I always loved the priests' clothes so obviously, I always wanted to create a character who will wear those kind of stuff ^^ But beware he is NOT a priest. He just likes to wear those long black clothes (and people can't imagine how wicked he is with those kind of clothes)

-> Kyrmellas :

The wind spirit linked to Kyrmell. The wind is the symbol of "freedom" in a very large term. Kyrmell is a bastard and he totally assumes who he is, which makes him totally free in his mind and acts. Kyrmellas represents Kyrmell's "wicked and manipulative mind". Kyrmellas looks like an angel but he doesn't speak or open his eyes, it's a direct order coming from Kyrmell. The reason is that his voice is deep, dark and scary and his eyes are very wicked. It's the reflect of Kyrmell's perfidy. As you know if you follow my story and characters, spirits can see each other, so Kyrmell doesn't want that other spirits could be able to see how wicked Kyrmellas is, because it's a way for them to realized how wicked HE is too (and to inform their own masters).
Eyes : Like Kyrmell for the pupils but the white in the eyes is black like Lyssian
Insect for : dark spider, but he often hide on Kyrmell's dark clothes, for not scaring people around.
Please note he has mini wings on his big normal wings.

Et voila! j'ouvre mon 1er concours sur mes personnages ! c'est super excitant !!!  

Les sujets sont d'une simplicité enfantine, vous devez simplement dessiner :
- soit un de mes personnages (je n'ai pas de préférence)
- soit un duo ! donc soit l'utilisateur et son esprit, soit 2 esprits ensemble, soit 2 utilisateurs ensemble ^^ Et pour les petits malins, dessiner par exemple Lysse avec Lyssian en version papillon, ça ne marche pas ! Je souhaite les esprits en version humaine pour ce sujet. Merci
Je vous laisse libre pour ce qui est du reste.
Je n'aime pas imposer des tas de règles qui tuent la créativité, je préfère laisser libre cours à votre talent et à votre imagination ^^

SVP rappellez-vous de certaines règles importantes :
Seul l'utilisateur peut voir ou parler à la forme humaine de son esprit ! Donc Lysse ne peut parler ou voir que Lyssian, Lundyh idem avec Lundymahk etc.... Si vous voulez, par exemple, dessiner Lysse qui discute avec Lundymahk, c'est impossible ! Lysse ne voit que la forme insecte de Lundymahk, donc un papillon blanc. Toutefois il y aura des exceptions à cete règle dans l'histoire (notamment un cas que vous ne connaissez pas) mais je ne vais pas aborder ce sujet tout de suite, ni pour ce concours.
Les esprits par contre se voient les uns et les autres (exemple dans les pages de bd ou Lyssian et Lundymahk passent leur temps à se prendre la tête )
Kyrmell et Kyrmellas n'apparaissent que dans l'histoire de Cecil et Cecilia, ils ne rencontrent pas Lysse, ou Lundyh. Toutefois pour ce cas precis, je n'ai pas d'objection, si vous avez une bonne idée, si vous souhaitez dessiner ces personnages avec d'autres qu'ils ne rencontreront jamais (genre Kyrmell avec Lyssian), à vous de voir !

Enfin je vous demande :
- de respecter les design (merci de bien faire attention aux formes speciales dans leurs yeux par exemple ! ils ont des pupilles bien precises avec chacune un symbole). Maintenant, il est evident que je ne vous demande absolument pas d'imiter mon style de dessin, ce qui m'interesse, c'est de voir mes personnages dans votre style a vous ^^
- de respecter leurs personnalités
- et de LIRE les commentaires sous mes illustrations, car c'est la que je decris des tas de choses sur qui ils sont, ce qui leur est arrivé et leur histoire en général ! Je sais qu'ils sont en anglais, et que l'anglais n'est pas le fort de tout le monde, alors n'hésitez pas à m'envoyer une note si vous avez besoin de précisions (ou de poster dans ce journal). Bref, ces commentaires vont vous aider a situer les personnages, et aussi a vous donner des idées de scènes à dessiner etc ...si vous avez des questions, besoin de précisions etc... notez moi !

Je vais juger les dessins sur le plan technique, sur les idées et sur le feeling. Et j'ajouterais que ces 3 éléments sont d'importance égales à mes yeux Mon amie et collègue Charlotte, qui elle n'est pas dessinatrice, participera aussi aux séléctions et pourra me donner un oeil different et neuf sur les participations ^^

CATEGORIES POUR CHAQUE SUJET :
Selon le theme choisi (donc 1 perso, ou 2), vous pouvez soumettre votre dessin dans une de ces 2 catégories :
- dessin traditionnel en couleur (aquarelles, encres, markers, crayons de couleur etc...).
- dessin colorié par ordinateur.
Je sais que parfois certaines personnes utilisent ces 2 techniques pour colorier (un bout au tradi, l'autre au PC), vous devez soumettre votre dessin dans la catégorie que vous avez le plus utilisée (donc si le dessin est fait a 70% au pc et a 30% au tradi, logiquement, il passe dans la catégorie ordinateur).
Vous pouvez faire plusieurs dessins (on peut toujours rever hein! ) mais un seul peut recevoir un prix.

LES PRIX POUR CHAQUE CATEGORIE :

Prix "coup de coeur" pour chacun des thèmes ^^ (toutes catégories confondues par contre, je ne vais pas differencier le digit du tradi). A ce propos, je vais etre tres claire avec ce prix special, TOUT le monde a sa chance (a part les autres gagants, bien entendu XD). ce que j'attends c'est un dessin qui me fasse super réagir (morte de rire, hyper emouvant etc... ), bref un dessin qui me touche vraiment... et donc, ça n'a clairement RIEN a voir avec le coté technique (il peut etre la ou absent du moment  que ça m'evoque un truc de fort).

Ce qui nous fera 5 gagnants par theme (2 en couleur par PC + 2 en couleur tradi + 1 prix special) soit 10 vainqueurs au total ^^ woot ! je souhaitais donner un maximum de chance a tout le monde !
** Une clause speciale tout de meme ** : si par malchance je n'ai pas assez d'entrées pour tous les prix (ce serait gentil de ne pas me laissez pas tomber loool ToT) je me réserve le droit de les modifier selon les entrées qui seront disponibles. Et comprenez bien que je n'ai absolument AUCUNE envie de faire ça, mais evidemment si j'ai peu d'entrées, je n'aurais pas le choix.

PERSONNAGES :
Donc voici mes bébés avec une description rapide et quelques points que je considère importants:

-> Lysse :

25 ans. Elle a très mauvais caractère mais n'a pas un mauvais fond. Elle n'aime pas l'ordre établi, elle n'aime pas qu'on lui donne des ordres, elle voudrait tout detruire et tout reconstruire à sa façon. Intérieurement elle cupabilise d'avoir abandonné Cecil à son triste sort lorsqu'ils étaient jeunes (et pense d'ailleurs qu'il est mort depuis longtemps, voir la description de cécil), elle n'a que peu d'estime pour elle et focalise donc toute son attention sur son apprentissage du combat et sur ses objectifs. Elle aime être classe mais n'aime pas le maquillage ou les "trucs de filles".
Son pouvoir est d'utiliser les couleurs sombres, merci de vous reporter au dessin "dark blades".
Yeux: les mêmes que Lyssian, donc pupille de chat jaune, le reste rouge. Le blanc de ses yeux est normal (pas noir comme Lyssian) !
(Au passage, vous pouvez la dessiner enfant si vous le souhaitez, rappellez vous seulement qu'à cette époque la, elle n'avait pas encore vu le vrai visage de Lyssian (donc il faudra vous contenter de le voir dessiner en petit papillon inoffensif ). De même elle ne rencontre Lundyh qu'à ses 17 ans et demi  (voir les pages de bd). Elle découvre la forme humaine de Lyssian 6 mois avant ça en tuant quelqu'un (c'etait l'epreuve requise pour voir sa forme humaine, chose qu'elle ignorait). Mais encore une fois, tout est marqué dans les commentaires.

-> Lyssian :

L'esprit noir rattaché à Lysse qui incarne le "chaos" qui vit en elle. Il est joueur, toujours prêt à faire une connerie, toujours content de créer des embrouilles entre Lysse et les liens qu'elle tisse avec les autres pour pouvoir la garder pour lui (il est possessif ce petit !). Il deteste Lundyh qui fait ressortir le bon coté de Lysse et apaise sa colère (ce dont Lyssian se nourrit). Il est très attaché à la jeune fille mais n'hésite pas à la manipuler lorsqu'il le peut pour arriver à ses propres fins (dans son idée, c'est pour son bien à elle !). Il adore ennuyer Lundymahk dès qu'il le peut !
Yeux: Pupille comme celle des chats, la fente au centre est jaune, le reste rouge. Le blanc de ses yeux est noir.
Forme insecte : papillon noir.

-> Lundyh :

45 ans. C'est un gars cool, qui manie fort bien l'épée et qui se sert peu des pouvoirs de Lundymahk (qui lui sert + de conseiller). Il est respecteux, attentif et sait appaiser le caractère destructeur de Lysse. Pour son passé se reporter aux dessins !
Yeux : Jaune avec un demi cercle noir + un cecle blanc complet.

-> Lundymahk :

L'esprit de lumière lié a Lundyh qui représente la "vérité et la devotion" qui sont en lui. Calme, posé, peu expresif et rigole rarement. Il a 4 yeux, celui sur son front sert a lire les pensées des gens, celui sur le torse (plus large que les autres) a ressentir les sentiments et l'état d'esprit des autres.
Lundymak n'aime pas Lyssian, en fait il n'arrive pas à lui faire confiance (à juste titre).
Yeux :  comme Lundyh, jaune avec un demi cercle noir + un cecle blanc complet.
Forme insecte : papillon blanc.

-> Cecil :

23 ans. Ami d'enfance de Lysse qui vivait avec elle et 5 autres enfants orphelins dans un bidon ville. Il est kidnappé (à 9 ans) par des ravisseurs d'enfants pour la revente et l'esclavagisme. Lysse était présente ce jour la et s'est cachée téanisée par la peur. Esclave et torturé, le garçon va tuer ses maitres le jour ou il rencontre son esprit de feu, cecilia, dans la Fontaine aux Esprits, à 14 ans (pour la Fontaine aux Esprits, merci de vous reporter à ce dessin pour des explications : [link] ). Roux à la base, Cecil a les cheveux qui deviennent blancs a cause du traumatisme qu'il a vécut. Il lui reste cependant certaines méches de sa couleur d'origine. Il vit une relation d'amour absolu totalement fusionnel avec Cecilia.
Cecil a une cicatrice autour du cou, signe d'un collier d'esclave qu'il a porté étant petit.
Yeux: rouges avec une croix noir au centre.

-> Cecilia :

Esprit de feu rattaché à Cecil, douce, gentille, tendre, elle est pourtant monstreusement dangereuse et agressive lorsqu'elle combat.
Elle a perdu son oeil gauche et elle est couverte de cicatrices qui correspondent à la douleur vécut par Cecil. Cecilia represente la "vengeance" qui sommeille en Cecil.
Yeux: rouges avec une croix noir au centre.
Forme insecte : luciole.

-> Kyrmell :

27 ans. Il fait plus jeune que son age, il est aimable, servible, amusant, tout ça pour mieux embobiner les gens autour de lui. En vérité, il est caculateur, précis, et il se sert des autres pour leur faire faire ce qu'il veut. Il adore être entouré d'une coure, être au centre de l'attention. Un de ses nombreux buts est de reunir des porteurs d'esprits puissants autour de lui pour disposer d'une grande force de frappe et devenir une figure importante de la société dans laquelle mes personnages évoluent.
Il fait parti de l'histoire de Cecil (il ne rencontre ni Lysse, ni Lundyh). Manque de bol pour lui, Cecil est un pro pour demasquer les salauds et ne va pas le lacher.
Son pouvoir lié à son esprit est de persuader les gens par la parole. Sur les faibles, il peut meme les commander et leur faire faire des choses improbables et très dangeureuse pour leur vie.
Yeux : verts, avec 2 cercles noirs entrelacés
J'ai toujours adoré les robes des prêtres d'ou le fait que j'ai toujours voulu créer un perso habillé de la sorte. Mais attention ce n'est pas un pretere! il aime juste ce genre d'habits très longs et noirs et en plus ça lui sert de camouflage pour passer inoffensif !

-> Kyrmellas :

L'esprit du vent lié à Kyrmell. Le vent symbolisant la liberté dans tous les sens du terme (Kyrmell étant un salaud qui s'assume 10000 % et agit librement à sa guise ). Kyrmellas represente la "fourberie et la manipulation" de Kyrmell. Il a une apparence angelique, mais il ne parle pas et ferme toujours les yeux sur ordre de Kyrmell. La raison est que sa voix est violente et caverneuse et ses yeux vicieux et troublants. Ils refletent la véritable mentalité de son porteur. Si vous suivez deja mes personnages et mon histoire, vous savez que les esprits se voient entre eux. Kyrmell veut donc eviter d'etre demasqué a cause de sa perfidie qui ressort par la voix et les yeux de Kyrmellas.
Yeux : comme Kyrmell mais avec le blanc des yeux noir comme Lyssian.
Forme insecte : une arraignée noire. Il se cache souvent dans les habits amples de Kyrmell pour ne pas etre vu et ainsi ne pas effrayer les autres.
Notez qu'il a des mini extensions d'ailes sur ses grandes ailes.

COMMENT PARTICIPER :
Postez tout simplement votre dessin sur DA et envoyez moi une note avec le dessin (que je ne rate pas certaines entrées!) le titre de la note svp : " concours : dessin de *votre nom* ". Pour info, je repondrai toujours à vos notes pour accuser reception du dessin. Si vous n'avez pas de retour de ma part au bout d'une semaine, renvoyez votre message... ma galerie fait des trucs trop bizarres parfois U_U;
J'apprecierai aussi un lien vers ce journal dans votre commentaire sous le dessin et bien sur le credit pour mes persos.
Enfin un dernier point : si vous postez votre dessin avec une grosse signature/watermark en plein dessus (je pense notamment aux gens qui postent leurs dessins avec le watermark hyper voyant et enorme de DA en plein dessus et qui gache absolument tout !), je vous demande de bien vouloir m'envoyer le dessin sans marque par note ou par mail (maevachan [arobaze] gmail [dot] com ) pour que je puisse le juger dans une bonne qualité et que je puisse voir tous les details. Ok, so now I need to write a little journal about the "ZOMG the character on your picture remind me of this one from *insert a manga/anime/game*"
This is annoying. Really.
Seriously, what's the purpose on writing that ? I mean, I like very much to have comments in general, I like constructive critics because they help me to draw better, as much as I like compliments because they help me to feel better, but this ?!
I know that most part of the time, the person doesn't want to hurt the artist, and that it's better to not reply and to ignore the comment (because it's life and people always need to compare things, not only in art but in life in general), but for the artist himself/herself who read it, it's seriously boring. Most part of the time, I don't even know who the character they told me about is ! (and what piss me off the most, it's when it's just about a hair color or any stupid detail like that ! )
I just draw what I like and what come in my mind ! and if my inspiration comes from anywhere else, I always write it on my comment under the picture concerned ! POINT.
So seriously if you have nothing more interesting to say, don't say anything because it's sometimes annoying to read...
I know I'm not the only one to think this way, I know it happens each day to plenty of artists on DA because I read a lot of journal entries about this, so please, think before you comment.

Un petit journal un peu furax parce que les commentaires style "oh mon dieu, le perso sur ton dessin, on dirait trop machin-truc de tel anime/jeux/manga!" ça commence a me courir sur le systeme !
Je me demande juste, a quoi ça sert ce type de commentaires ??? qu'on me comprenne bien, j'apprecie beaucoup les commentaires en général que ce soit des critiques constructives, parce que ça m'aide a progresser ou des compliments, parce que ça me rend heureuse, mais ça ??? ça sert a quoi exactement ?
Deja il faut savoir que les 90% du temps je ne sais meme pas de quel perso ou anime/manga/jeux les gens me parlent ! Je dessine ce qui me vient à l'esprit et ce qui me plait, je ne me pose pas plus de questions que ça ! Et si jamais je m'inspire effectivement de quelque chose de particulier, je le marque clairement dans mon commentaire en dessous du dessin concerné ! POINT BARRE.
Sincerement, je sais que la plupart du temps, les gens ne disent pas ça pour etre blessants, que c'est tres anodin et que je ne dois pas le prendre mal (et que je dois ignorer la remarque en fait, les gens ont un besoin maladif de toujours tout comparer, pas seulement en dessin mais dans la vie de tous les jours en général) mais à force d'en avoir ici ou la de temps a autre, pour l'artiste qui lit les commentaires, franchement, ça devient gavant ! (encore plus quand le seul rapport c'est une couleur des cheveux ou n'importe quel élément super basique ! ).
En gros, si vous n'avez rien de mieux a dire, ne dites rien, parce qu'a lire, très sincérement, ça n'a rien d'agréable et je sais que je ne suis pas la seule a penser ça, j'ai deja lu des tas de journaux sur DA à ce sujet, postés par des artistes completement dégoutés par ce genre d'attitudes.

1/ Lysse hates herself, she feels so lost, that’s why she has a really bad temper.

I love cinema. I have a tone of DVD at my home. I'm really addicted, and I want to discover movies I still haven't watched.

I like a lot of types, my favourite is what I call "emotional" (those movies coming from another dimension who blow you away when you watch them and make you cry *_* american beauty, Million dollar baby, the fountain, forest gump, children of men, slumdog millionnaire, the lovely bones.... ). After there are super heroes movies (V for Vendetta, Batman, Iron Man, Hellboy...), SciFi, thrillers, comedy, action, animation movies (HTTYD *3* ) etc....

The only type I don't like is psychological horror, like the "Saw" movies or everything with humans torturing other humans. I can't stand that.

So please share with me your favourites movies, maybe I will discover diamonds I still haven't watched
